Welcome to St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church

Welcoming. Warm. Open. Those are some of the words used to describe the people of St. Elizabeth, a parish church of caring, committed Episcopalians.
All Are Welcome
The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ as a community open to all. We are a sacramental and liturgical church promoting thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be as followers of Christ. All baptized Christians—no matter age or denomination—are welcome to receive Holy Communion at our weekly Eucharist services.
Service to God and community is our ministry. We are an informal congregation that believes in community outreach and humanitarian service. St. Elizabeth’s is involved in many local ministries, including Hospitality House, which provides housing and support for homeless women, and Riverton Place, a helping ministry for men needing shelter. We have a multi-cultural congregation that supports caring programs in Sudan, Tonga and other nations.
Join us for worship and Communion. Our services are held at 8:00 and 10:00 am every Sunday. A lively Bible Study takes place at 9:00 am in the church library. The 8:00 am service is a contemplative Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist service without music. The 10:00 am service is attended by the majority of the congregation and includes Holy Eucharist, with inspiring music. We also celebrate a Wednesday Eucharist service at 10:00 am.
Children are welcome We have activity bags for the young ones to use during the service, and in the fall and winter, we have access to childcare. Older children can learn to help with the service if they would like.
